Shalom Village will continually strive to identify and remove all barriers that prevent a person with disabilities from fully participating within our facilities, programs and services, policies and practices.
The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 sets out the goal of achieving accessibility for Ontarians with disabilities by 2025. This goal will be achieved through the development and implementation of accessibility standards in five key areas: customer service, information and communications, employment, transportation and the built environment.
We are committed to accessibility and complying with the law. Shalom Village’s Accessibility Policy outlines, among other things, how we support people with disabilities by providing them with temporary access to assistive devices in order to access our services.
